Pay Rate: -25.00 $/Hour Job Title: Medical Assistant II City: Cincinnati State: OH Job Type: Travel Discipline: Allied Health Professional Speciality: Medical Assistant Facility Setting: Short Term Acute Care (STAC) Accepting Locals per Radius Rule? - Contract Length: 13 weeks Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 Shift Details: 8 Hours Weekly Schedule: 40 Hours Overtime Policy: NA Supplemental Schedule: NA Certifications: Required Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program. Associate degree is preferred. BLS Certifications is required. Medical Assistant. Certified/Registered Medical Assistant from a certifying body is preferred. Completed High School (Diploma or GED) is required. Mandatory Experience: Required: EMR experience, 1+ years' experience in medical office setting rooming patients, taking vitals, and administering vaccinations Preferred: 2-5 years' experience, Epic experience, Phlebotomy experience Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30 Flu Shot is required. Required Skills & Experience: Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, EMR and scheduling systems). Strong verbal and social skills to facilitate working respectfully with patients, physicians, visitors, co-workers, and drug reps in person or by telephone. Ability and willingness to travel to other physician offices as requested or needed. Preferred Skills & Experience: 2 to 5 years of Medical Assistant or other relevant experience. Practice in different care settings (eg. Primary care, Speciality, EMT, etc.).
