Key Responsibilities:
Operate a commercial vehicle (18-speed manual transmission) safely and efficiently. Transport and deliver goods using a 53-foot flatbed trailer. Secure cargo with proper load securement techniques, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment. Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and deliveries.
Qualifications:
Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record. Proficient in operating an 18-speed manual transmission. Experience with flatbed trailers and load securement techniques is required. Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug test. Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
