Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Certification State License 1 Verification Job Details IU Health is now offering charge pay, which is a $3.00 bill rate bump per hour First Time Travelers Accepted Shift Requirements: 3x12s or 4x12s Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources. Job Requirements Minimum 2 Years of Experience Level 1 Trauma Experience Preferred Unit Specific Information 3 North is a medical-surgical unit specializing in post-operative care of colorectal surgery patients. Candidates must be fit-tested for an N95 mask or trained on how to use a PAPR device for care. Additional Details Valid Driver’s License or Passport accepted. Must be clear copy. AHA ONLY. RQI is acceptable. Required for all candidates within 30 days. Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule.
