AWS Infrastructure Lead/Architect

Job Title: AWS Infrastructure Lead/Architect Location: Plano, TX Duration /Term: 12 Months/Long Term Contract Experience & Qualifications: Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure. Provide infrastructure accommodations for live events. Handle operations and production support as a senior resource. Work with AWS services including ECS, EC2, and Route 53. Manage Linux environments and perform scripting tasks. Utilize Docker for containerization. Support Production and operations team. Scale the infra as requested. Experience required in Kubernetes and Helm. Experience with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and Redis. Familiarity with Elasticsearch, microservices, and message queues. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform. Managing deployment, creating infrastructure etc. Design and architect highly available, secure, and scalable cloud foundation services on AWS using industry best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework principles. Design and deploy Transit Gateway solutions for secure and efficient network connectivity between AWS accounts, on-premises environments, and other cloud resources. Architect and implement robust network and security solutions, including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, security groups, network ACLs, and other AWS networking and security services. Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and architectures using AWS services such as Route 53, AWS Backup, and AWS Site-to-Site VPN to ensure business continuity and data protection. Lead and oversee cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, and execution of migrating on-premises workloads to the AWS cloud environment. Evaluate and recommend appropriate migration strategies (rehost, replat form, refactor, etc.) based on application requirements and business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure alignment with organizational goals and requirements. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to the team, fostering best practices and continuous learning .
