Lead MDM Engineer

Job Summary The MDM Lead Engineer will bring expertise in developing and architecting MDM solutions with a focus on the Informatica and/or Reltio platforms. This role requires a technologist who is experienced in delivering impactful solutions within a software/technology consulting environment, including contributions to data governance structures and policies. Key Responsibilities: • Implement MDM solutions using Reltio/Informatica, setting up the platform in a data lake or big data environment. • Design, configure, deploy, and monitor MDM platforms, offering thought leadership to drive operational efficiencies. • Assist with MDM Process Design and planning, and implement Enterprise Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality solutions. • Develop solutions for handling PHI, PCI, and PII data classifications in compliance with regulations. • Collaborate with data governance stakeholders to define business rules for data validation, standardization, matching, and merging. • Apply best practices to Data Quality policies, procedures, and standards. • Maintain customer, location, product, and other data domains in coordination with the Data Governance Team. • Support data integration frameworks, including workflow and load processes, and oversee Informatica/Reltio MDM hub installation. • Lead customer workshop sessions for requirements gathering, building proof of concepts (POCs), and developing rapid prototypes. • Conduct performance tuning for applications, databases, and the MDM platform. • Work closely with offshore teams, leading them in collaborative projects. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Math). • 10 years of IT experience, with 5 years in the MDM domain using Informatica (9.7.x or higher)/Reltio solutions. • Knowledge in MDM, Data Quality, Data Governance, and BI concepts. • Experience with SOA/EDA architectures, JMS messaging, SOAP, and RESTful services. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executives, IT management, and developers. • Informatica MDM Certification and/or Reltio MDM certification preferred. Preferred Expertise: • Hands-on experience with Informatica IDQ, ETL (PowerCenter 9.x), and Informatica Cloud Services. • Background in implementing Data Governance with tools like Informatica (EDC, AXON), Reltio, or Collibra. • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP environments for MDM implementations. • Experience in data engineering for cloud platforms. • Knowledge in Big Data technology or Data Lakehouse; Oracle ERP (R12)/Oracle Fusion knowledge is a plus.
