About the Team The Thought Leadership team at Workday is a forward-thinking group dedicated to establishing the company as a leading voice in the future of work and AI. We strive to achieve this by creating impactful content that analyzes emerging trends, influences industry perspectives, and positions Workday executives as trusted thought leaders. Our work directly impacts brand awareness and demand generation efforts across key markets. About the Role We are seeking a Multimedia Content Writer to join our growing Thought Leadership team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that bring our thought leadership to life across various multimedia formats. You will be a master storyteller with a keen understanding of how to engage audiences through different mediums, from video scripts and podcasts to keynote presentations and social media content. About You Responsibilities: Copywriting: Develop engaging and informative scripts for a variety of multimedia formats, including videos, podcasts, live broadcast programming, keynotes, blogs, eMagazines, and animated explainers. Narrative Development: Craft compelling narratives that effectively communicate Workday's thought leadership, key messages, and value propositions while ensuring clarity and audience engagement. Adaptability: Adapt writing style and tone to suit different formats, target audiences, and subject matter. Collaboration: Partner with executive communications, content marketing, subject matter experts, and presenters/speakers to capture their expertise and perspectives accurately. Content Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Newsroom Team to identify relevant topics, key messaging, and industry trends, ensuring consistent messaging and audience engagement across all platforms. Research: Review industry trends, competitor activities, and audience interests to inform script development. Basic Qualifications: 3 years of experience in copywriting for multimedia, content marketing, or a related field. Proven ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for various formats, including live broadcast or TV. Strong understanding of storytelling principles and narrative structure. Experience with video and audio production workflows. Other Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, film studies, or a related field Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Portfolio of previous copywriting work is a plus. Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
