Position Summary As our
Brand Portfolio Marketing Director , you will be at the forefront in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to define and elevate our brand identity and shaping our customer experience. As a member of Far Bank's Senior Leadership Team, you will drive brand & product awareness and consumer affinity through compelling storytelling and impactful campaigns that resonate with the fly angling community while capturing the attention of new consumers drawn to the sport. This position reports to our Chief Product and Marketing Officer and is based out of our Seattle/Bainbridge Island, WA locations. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of brand management and consumer engagement, and is eager for the challenge of driving digital marketing reach combined with intimate on-the-water/local fly shop connections to create a brand portfolio that connects authentically with the fly fishing community and excites new participants to join our sport. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Develop and drive brand positioning, market strategies, and growth initiatives tailored to outdoor consumer trends. Plan, execute and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, traditional, and social media. Ensure optimal utilization of resources relative to business plans, distribution channels, and strategies. Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly. Deliver inspirational leadership to lead, develop, and mentor a best-in-class cross-functional, multi-brand marketing organization. Develop frameworks, processes, and best practices to be utilized across brands that inspire innovation and captures market share. Develop marketing key performance indicators, ensure teams are tracking and monitoring investment and activity against targets, work with team to improve and optimize as necessary. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Must be highly motivated and results oriented with the ability to easily adapt to change, and consistently meet deadlines Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire teams Expertise in consumer engagement, content creation/distribution, digital marketing, promotions, and public relations Strong PC skills/aptitude with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Understanding and ability to work in Adobe Creative Suite and other content creation software (PhotoShop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.) Acute attention to detail with proven skills in planning, time management, prioritization, problem solving, and decision making Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred) 10+ yrs of Marketing experience with 5+ years of Marketing leadership, preferably for an outdoor industry brand Interest/experience in fly fishing is preferred, Undying passion for fly fishing is a plus COMPENSATION Annualized Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 DOE Competitive Benefits package includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(k), and Vacation/Sick accrual PERKS A flexible work environment placing a premium on collaborative interaction in a fun, friendly team atmosphere The occasional destination fly fishing trip to test products Access to "pro" pricing for a broad array of outdoor products
