**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years with Cerner or EPIC experience. Not accepting travelers with only 1 year of experience.
**License:** Registered Nurse License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
**Must-Have:** Experience with Cerner or EPIC, Vent care, Hemodynamic monitoring, Medication titrations, Arterial line, IABP, Impella, EKOS, CRRT, Chest tube, Swan Ganz catheter, FloTrac monitoring, Titratable drip management, Hypothermia protocol.
**Job Description:**
- Care for patients including STEMI, post-heart cath with interventions, respiratory failure/ventilated, post-cardiac arrest, post-stroke care, renal failure, hypertensive emergency, sepsis, and critical care needs. - Perform advanced care skills such as vent care, hemodynamic monitoring, medication titrations, and management of advanced medical devices. - Patient ratio is 1:2 for intensive care. - Work each shift with the support of a charge nurse, CNA, and hospitalist. - Participate in the weekend rotation every other weekend and possibly work back-to-back weekends on rare occasions. - Work one major and one minor seasonal holiday as per policy. - Float to any similar unit or patient location as needed. - New to facility or returning travelers who have been absent for 1+ years will undergo 24 hours of classroom orientation and 24 hours of on-unit orientation. - Scrub color is flexible. - Utilize Cerner EMR and various medical technologies such as Plum 360 IV pumps and Spacelabs monitors.
**Other Notes:** Staff will need to adhere to specific blackout dates for holidays and events as per facility policy.
