IT Information Security Specialist (Ref ISS1114SD) Application Deadline: 12 December 2024 Department: IT Employment Type: Full Time Location: NYX Corporate Description Work Location: 14909 Beck Rd., Plymouth, MI 48170 Job Duties: Ensure established information security policies and procedures are implemented and followed. Develop IT security system projects to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and services and provide advice and solutions to a wide range of IT issues. Perform security risk assessments and internal audits, develop security risk mitigation recommendations, and identify security controls for all systems, applications, databases, and networks. Assist in developing risk mitigation and security control recommendation for IT systems, applications, networks, servers, and databases. Conduct physical security assessment and review with plant managers to ensure all risks and vulnerabilities are addressed and proper controls are implemented. Monitor information system and data security to ensure that security logs and audit trails are reviewed in accordance with established schedules. Implement and support a risk management program. Recommend and deploy additional third-party security products, software, and tools for better security enhancement and development efforts. Assist the IT team with sequencing systems support and other IT related issues. Work with internal and external resources to develop risk analysis and develop security plans for both company and customer facing events. Implement and maintain information and physical security program, standards, controls, and procedures key to the organization. Review access controls, firewall rules, and anti-virus and conduct quarterly audits, vulnerability assessment, anti-phishing campaigns, and security awareness training. Coordinate with all business units to ensure company-wide security compliance. Support Governance, Risk, & Compliance (GRC) tools implementation and utilization. Drive forward the cyber mandate with internal, external, and regulatory stakeholders to execute the cyber strategy. Requirements Requirements: This position requires a Master's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Information Security, Information Assurance, or a related field. Plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year in a related occupation including IT Audit Analyst, Audit Associate, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with internal audits. 40hrs/week.
