Our client's Salesforce Operations Team is seeking a Salesforce Operations Engineer to join their team.
Job Title: Salesforce Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work Model: Hybrid, 3 days in office.
What’s the Job?
Work as part of a scrum team on leadership-prioritized work within the team's tech remit, they'll work closely with other team members on development, code review, and roll-out.
Design new code and changes to existing code. Read, edit, and write code to resolve team priorities. Perform other auxiliary functions (pull requests, etc) that are part of software development.
Work to identify, communicate, and resolve defects,
A small percentage of this role (because we don't have dedicated support staff yet) is end-user support of the development teams that are among our stakeholders. Some 15% of the engineers time will likely end up going to this end-user support and training. If the team is doing well it will be even less.
Willingness to take on backlog items that involve non-code work, this will be a small percentage of backlog items.
Actively and enthusiastically participate in team scrum activities and should be proactively thinking about how to solve technical challenges facing the team, bringing to the table their own ideas about how to solve problems.
Willingness and capability to independently research and make recommendations and technical designs to challenging technical problems.
This role will require on-call hours one evening (6-9pm) one Thursday every two weeks.
