RiverTech LLC, a subsidiary of Akima LLC, an Alaska Native Corporation, has an opening for a dynamic Facility Operations and Warehouse Manager to support the Integrated Logistics Services of a principal DoD agency. As the Warehouse Manager, you'll directly support the program's warehousing requirements in Alexandria, VA by achieving program objectives as you interface with customers and supervise a diverse team of logistics professionals.
The ideal candidate will have excellent team management skills, dynamic customer engagement and relationship management abilities. The Warehouse Manager shall provide timely, trustworthy, and dependable customer service and integrated logistics support, including warehousing, physical delivery, pick-up, inventorying, shipping/handling and disposal of IT assets in accordance with applicable statutes, defense regulations and DISA/JSP's policies and procedures.
The Warehouse Manager fosters reduction of capital and operating costs and maximizes productivity, efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, be a strong team player, and can establish solid working relationships horizontally and vertically with staff members, peers, and our external Government customers.
Responsibilities include integration and support to IT and business systems within a flexible, managed IT service delivery operation.
Responsibilities Direct activities involved with receiving, inventory, labeling, storage, assembling, packing, and shipping IT hardware Pack and ship equipment within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Manage vehicle fleet consisting of Non-CDL Box trucks, transit van and pickup truck in accordance with FMCSA and USDOT regulations Manage distribution and delivery operations within the DMV, to Northern Pennsylvania, Maryland, and parts of Southern Virginia Provide recommendations on the disposition of hardware that is no longer suitable for the standard configuration Be responsible for the site, safety and health operations within the warehouse and supported locations. Inventory Management: Review, inventory, redistribution of spares, repair parts, material distribution system management, stock level management, Supply Chain defect management in accordance with DLA Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR) Customer Support across enterprise related to inventory, replenishment, stock levels, distribution DEMIL and Disposal Plans in accordance with DLA Disposition Service standards for equipment review for reuse, turn-in, transfer, salvage Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans Hardware warranties support by working with specialist to manage the ordering and receiving of replacement parts Coordination of commercial shipping via DHL, FEDEX or UPS to CONUS and or OCONUS sites as approved by COR and PM per contract reimbursable parameters Manage use of contract purchase card for company internal operations and cost reimbursable requirements Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) account management Develop, mentor, sponsor and provide supervisory oversight of personnel Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into project's activities Oversee and assist with analyzing business and technical requirements Liaise with JSP and or DISA HQs asset management stakeholders with active participation in integrated planning teams meetings to ensure as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure financial audit readiness, property accountability and policy needs are met Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics or related field U.S. Citizen with active SECRET clearance Minimum of 5 years as a warehouse manager Understanding of OSHA regulations; OSHA 10/30 qualified Familiar FMCSA / USDOT certification requirements and able to certify non-CDL drivers in support of intra/interstate general freight transportation Able to lift 50lbs Able to operate a 3.5T forklift and able to conduct annual forklift training and certification Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work Proficient with computers; effective oral and written communication skills Strong leadership, team building, and management skills Knowledge of general software and applications Demonstrated strong oral and written communication Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas Job ID
