Must be a self-starter & team player who can take ownership of a project from design to deployment under a rapid paceMUST HAVES:Chip and wireElectronic PackagingDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ownership of the complete product lifecycle of space hardware from initial design concept to production & unit delivery.Perform mechanical analyses (vibration, thermal, radiation) on new product designs to ensure survival to launch and on-orbit environmentsRapidly prototype & iterate on designsEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.Experience with CAD and FEA software packages, preferably SOLIDWORKSSolid knowledge of GD&T3+ years of industry experience with mechanical or electromechanical design, analysis, and/or manufacturing.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:5+ years of mechanical engineering experience; preferably in design and analysis of electronics/microwave packaging for space applications.Knowledge of high mix, low volume manufacturing methods, i.e. CNC manufacturing.Previous ownership of component design from concept to aerospace industry qualification and production.Rapid prototyping & design iteration.Interested in hearing more?
