About the job:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced digital product manager to join our growing team. As a digital product manager, you will own one or more of our key platforms online banking, mobile banking, digital onboarding, and employee-facing tools and will play a crucial role in driving our member experience and employee experience roadmaps. In your role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, design business processes, and manage the product lifecycle from inception to delivery.
What you' ll do :
Product Strategy:
Execute the digital product strategy aligned with business goals and member needs. Roadmap Ownership:
Create and maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on strategic priorities and market trends. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with vendors, UX/UI designers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital products. Prototyping:
Build wireframes and low fidelity prototypes to communicate your ideas. Information Architecture:
Organize accounts (financial products), data, settings, and transactions in a logical manner to improve digital product usability. Journey & Process Mapping:
Build journey and process maps to communicate user flows and improve business processes. Stakeholder Research : Interview leaders in lending, business services, payments, loss mitigation, and other business units to identify pain points and process improvement opportunities. Market Research:
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends in digital banking. Member
Insights: Utilize member feedback, analytics, and user research to inform product decisions and enhance user experiences. Project Management:
Drive the agile product development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management. Quality Assurance:
Ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements through rigorous testing and validation. Performance Monitoring:
Define key metrics and KPIs to measure product performance and optimize features based on data-driven insights. Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate product updates, milestones, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders. What you bring to the table :
5-10 years of experience in digital product management Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required A bachelors degree, most likely in business or a STEAM field (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math) Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products or services Strong understanding of agile methodologies, UX/UI principles, and software development processes Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends, diagnose problems, and recommend effective solutions Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering innovative digital solutions. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to financial products is a plus. Sunward's digital organization KPIs :
