Our client is seeking a litigation paralegal to join their fast-paced team Job Details: Title: Litigation Paralegal Type: Direct Hire Location: Onsite in NW Washington, DC Salary: $70,000- $85,000 depending on years of experience Background Check: will be run upon offer Candidate profile and qualifications : Experience - 4 years of litigation paralegal experience Experience at Amlaw 100 firm or with a specialized litigation boutique firm strongly preferred Experience with all stages of litigation and experience with trial or arbitration proceedings Technical Skills : Proficient in e-discovery database tools and e-filing, Microsoft Office Suite Languages : Spanish- nice to have Soft Skills : excellent communication skills, attention to detail Education : BA/BS required, paralegal certificate nice to have Job Duties & Responsibilities: In collaboration with senior paralegals and attorneys, you will manage various aspects of litigation case management, including document organization, case scheduling, discovery support, and trial preparation logistics. You will also lead and coordinate tasks for junior paralegals and support staff on specific cases as required. Engaging with external parties—such as courts, government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations, vendors, and other law firms—you will facilitate necessary activities related to your cases. Your role includes drafting, reviewing, and analyzing standard legal documents upon attorney request, as well as conducting legal research under their guidance. Fostering effective working relationships will be crucial for creating a positive and productive environment. You are encouraged to continuously enhance your skills in response to evolving workplace demands. Additionally, you will adhere to the firm’s policies and priorities while also taking on other responsibilities as assigned by management. Maintaining strict confidentiality, discretion, and integrity regarding sensitive firm and client information is essential.
