Investment Project Manager

Job Title: Investment Project Manager (2 Openings) Location: Hybrid – Springfield, MA or Boston, MA (3 days onsite in Springfield) Start Date: January 2025 Employment Type: 6 month extension and possible conversion contract Job Summary We are looking for two Investment Project Managers to drive high-impact projects in investment management operations (trading / stocks systems processes and data). These positions are ideal for professionals with extensive experience in managing complex agile transformations within investment operations spanning the front, middle, and back offices. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage large, complex agile digital transformations , addressing challenges in functions such as Investment Operations , Portfolio Risk Analytics , and related areas (e.g., IT, Finance, Risk, Legal). Oversee the scaling of agile practices across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop project plans, and deliver results within tight timelines. Utilize advanced Project Management tools including Atlassian Jira , Zephyr for Jira , Smartsheets , and the Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to track and report on project progress. Qualifications Must-Haves: 5-10 years of professional experience Project Management with a focus on the financial services industry and capital markets / investment management projects with a focus on front, middle, and back-office operations ( projects surrounding trading / stocks systems processes and data). Demonstrated expertise in leading agile transformations and resolving associated challenges. Preferred Skills: PMP certification or equivalent expertise in project management methodologies.
