US Army Pacific . Responsibilities: Serve as the Safety and Occupational Health Director for the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC). Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, evaluating, and supervising the USARPAC Safety Program. Act as the technical safety advisor/consultant to the USARPAC Commander and senior leaders. Formulate Theater level safety policies and procedures for a wide range of accident prevention measures. Principal staff advisor for USARPAC on all accident prevention matters, including force protection, safety policies and procedures, accident reporting and analysis, occupational safety and health hazards, and field training exercises. Represent the USARPAC commander at safety meetings, seminars, and conferences. Requirements: Who May Apply:

Education:
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information:
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. A supervisory probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
