Director of Facilities Operations

Location: Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living We are seeking a Director of Facility Operations with extensive experience in team leadership. In this role, you will oversee the Housekeeping, Engineering, Grounds, and Maintenance departments. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as adhering to the standards and guidelines set by Erickson Senior Living. This position is essential for maintaining all facilities in a safe, sanitary, and healthy condition, while also providing general support services as needed. Compensation: Commensurate with experience from $100,000 - $130,000 annually How you will make an impact Plan, provide, and maintain a quality facility with respect to the interior and exterior of the buildings, roads, grounds, tools, and equipment to achieve a safe, sanitary, and healthy living/working environment for residents and staff Provide residents with quality transportation, security, reception, and facility services Lead all departmental employee functions, providing the facility with productive, responsive employees who are well-trained and effectively managed Develop departmental, community, and corporate goals/objectives, formulate and implement tools for training/evaluations and methods for follow-up Implement system and controls to achieve financial performance as established by the departmental budget Orchestrate departmental administration, subordinate groups, and departments through effective leadership to enable the community to achieve its mission. Assure that all services and programs are in compliance with federal, state, and/or local laws and statutes. Demonstrate technical and management knowledge, proficiency, and initiative in achieving goals and meeting standards and The Erickson Way. Develop and oversee Individual Development Plans for each Manager and support their growth and educational opportunities What you will need Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Services / Facilities Operations Minimum 10 Hour OSHA training required within 1 year of hire Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities Experience with CMMS is preferred Valid driver’s license is required if operating Community vehicles Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
