We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in the healthcare and social assistance industry, located in GREENVILLE, South Carolina. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and involves supporting leadership staff in the completion of routine tasks, serving as the administrative interface with the Board of Commissioners, and assisting with Agency Policy.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in accomplishing administrative support duties
• Maintain an efficient filing system for the Agency
• Prepare and process a variety of administrative reports, presentations, forms, correspondence, and manuals
• Transcribe minutes from various meetings and provide phone support
• Support other leadership staff in completion of routine reports, proposals, and other tasks
• Serve as logistical and administrative interface with the Board of Commissioners and appointed committees
• Arrange Board-approved meetings and trainings
• Communicate logistics and administrative information to the Board on behalf of the CEO
• Provide administrative support for Agency Leadership Meeting by preparing materials and completing meeting minutes
• Assist with Agency Policy and handle inbound and outbound calls
• Perform data entry and email correspondence while utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
• Schedule appointments efficiently and maintain customer service standards.• Must have experience in answering inbound and outbound calls.
• Proven record in providing excellent customer service.
• Proficient in data entry tasks.
• Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience in scheduling appointments in a healthcare or hospital setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance environment would be a plus.
