Robert Half is hiring: Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Wilsonville

Jamie Benway with Robert Half in search of a dedicated Accounting Manager/Supervisor to be an integral part of our team based in Wilsonville, Oregon. In this role, you will be tasked with the management of both financial and accounting operations. Your primary duties will encompass overseeing the full month-end closure, annual budgeting, and handling customer queries, amongst other tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive financial and accounting operations

• Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records

• Efficiently process customer credit applications

• Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

• Handle full month-end closure and annual budgeting activities

• Supervise a team of 6, fostering a productive and efficient work environment

• Assist with human resources tasks as needed, providing backup support to the HR team

• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions as needed

• Facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities from the outgoing CFO

• Collaborate with the outsourced CPA for year-end financial review and tax returns

• Proven expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrable experience in Auditing
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Detail oriented accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA
• Strong leadership abilities and experience supervising a team
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
