We are seeking an accomplished Partner-Level Construction Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our esteemed practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in construction litigation, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases.
Book of business is ideal, but not required. Key Responsibilities:
Represent clients in all aspects of construction litigation, including contract disputes, claims, and regulatory issues. Manage and lead litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial preparation and representation. Develop legal strategies and provide sound legal counsel to clients regarding construction-related matters. Mentor and support junior attorneys and staff in their professional development. Build and maintain strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives to grow the practice. Stay informed on relevant legal trends and changes in construction law.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction litigation. Admission to the Virginia State Bar. Strong analytical, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proven leadership experience and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A robust network and demonstrated business development acumen are highly desirable.
