Key Responsibilities for the Tax Staff Accountant
As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will:
Prepare corporate, S-corporate, partnership, nonprofit, and individual income tax filings.
Gather and organize client information for tax filings, planning, and risk assessments.
The Tax Staff Accountant will apply entry-level knowledge of Tax and GAAP regulations, including income recognition and expense deductibility.
Create income tax projections and calculate quarterly estimated taxes.
Effectively manage your time, seeking work proactively and meeting deadlines.
Communicate questions, issues, and job progress/status with supervisors and team leads.
The Tax Staff Accountant will participate actively in department meetings, Continuing Professional Education (CPE), and staff meetings.
