Our client, a well-established service company in Bakersfield, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and hands-on financial professional to lead all aspects of the companys accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning efforts Collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and decision-making Implement and maintain effective internal controls and processes Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial risk management
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred) 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or senior accounting role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
