About the Company and Accounts Payable Administrator Opportunity:
Our repeat client is a nonprofit organization who has served the DC area for over 50 years. Their mission is to support and inspire Washington, DC's low-income residents on their journey to self-sufficiency and success.
Due to growth and an upcoming audit, they are hiring a
part time Accounts Payable Administrator
to work in their office in Washington, DC. This candidate will join a small AP team of two.
Candidates are recommended to take the metro (green line, Shaw metro stop)
This position is a contract role and is expected to last about 3 months
Schedule: 9am-3pm Monday-Friday, about 25 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work at least 4 days per week. Days and hours can be flexible
Reports directly to the AP Manager
Start date: February 26, 2024

Duties of the Accounts Payable Administrator role:
Enter invoices and process within the accounting system
Assist with automating the AP process
Ensure documentation corresponds correctly with checks
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Administrator:
1+ years' full cycle AP experience required
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus
Strong knowledge in Adobe preferred
Basic Excel skills required
Non profit experience a plus
Able to work with under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work well with customers and strong attention to detail
COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
