Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in Virginia Beach. This individual will be responsible for leading large-scale healthcare projects ranging from $50 million to $300 million+. The role offers the opportunity to manage complex, high-profile projects while contributing to the growth of the healthcare sector within a respected and well-established company.

The Senior Project Manager - Healthcare - VA Beach will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all phases of large-scale construction projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Oversee and coordinate project teams, including project engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Regularly report on project progress to stakeholders, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks or challenges.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative team environment, ensuring alignment with the company's culture and values.

Profile

The Senior Project Manager - Healthcare - VA Beach will have the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare projects.
  • Proven ability to manage large, complex construction projects ($50M+).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in project scheduling software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar).
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and regulations.
