Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join their team in New Haven, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction, including interior renovations, and will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

Description
- Assist the Project Manager in all phases of project management, from inception to completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor project progress and report on status to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in preparing and managing project budgets and schedules.
- Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, means, and methods.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
