Overview
The Sr. Director of Accounting & Reporting will take on a leadership role for accounting and reporting functions and provide the management team with accurate and timely financial statements and related information to effectively manage the Company. Responsibilities
Provide quality internal and external customer service surrounding the Company values.
Implements programs and projects approved by senior management that adhere to Company goals, policies, financial objectives, and schedules. Establish and implement goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures that improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide oversight to staff in day-to-day tasks to ensure that transactions are recorded and reported in accordance with Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in the United States of American and other regulatory guidance. Select, coach, and develop functional team members. Direct and coordinate monthly close and financial reporting process. Ensure that the balance sheet is properly valued, and all accounts are reconciled. Ensure that proper internal controls are in place and followed. Work with cross-functional teams to assist in the development of the annual budget. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget. Support the annual audit process with external auditors. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Accounting Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Advanced knowledge of finance, GAAP accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritize and organize effectively Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work both independently and with others Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with tight deadlines Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and Windows-based computer applications Working Conditions Hybrid schedule Pay Transparency TierPoint is committed to practices that promote pay equity and transparency. Pay Range $127,000.00 - $195,459.25
