GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Driver is responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities/functions and medical appointments.
Driver must have
CDL Class B with passenger endorsement . PRINCIPLE DUTIES: Essential Job Duties: Primarily Monday through Friday, (9:00am till 5:00pm)
With possible nights, weekends and holiday responsibilities .
Picks up and delivers residents to all scheduled activities and appointments where transportation is needed. Completes a safety check of the applicable vehicle, (i.e., car or bus) before transporting residents to and from scheduled activities and appointments. Accurately records vehicle mileage and resident attendance for all scheduled transportation. Other Duties: Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, inside and out. Transports vehicle(s) to service locations for routine preventive maintenance on vehicle(s) as scheduled by supervisor. Notifies supervisor of necessary repairs and vehicle malfunctions. Immediately notifies supervisor of resident concerns, problems, or incidents. Makes miscellaneous runs for administration errands as necessary. Assist with planning, setting, for events. Assist with making informational flyers, monitoring bulletin board and search for special event outings for our Seniors. Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition. Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor. Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned. Must be CPR, AED and First Aid certified.
