In this role, you’ll help secure funding to sustain and grow our programs, all while gaining valuable experience and access to training and professional development opportunities. Responsibilities: Research potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Write and submit persuasive grant proposals, tailored to funders’ requirements and priorities. Collaborate with staff and board members to gather necessary information for grant applications. Maintain accurate records of grant submissions, deadlines, and reporting requirements. Assist with grant reporting, including progress updates and final reports to funders. Stay informed about best practices and trends in grant writing and nonprofit funding. Qualifications: Strong writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines effectively. Research skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in grant writing or nonprofit work is a plus, but not required. Passion for community service and alignment with our mission. Time Commitment: Approximately 5-10 hours per month, with flexibility based on grant deadlines.
