Job Description: The Cloud Infrastructure Architect is primarily responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, lead the architectural design sessions with the client, provide regular coaching and guidance to client in addition to hands on implementation and execution of the solution. Responsibilities: You will help customers create and implement a vision and strategy for their digital transformation and be an integral part of their transformation journey, challenging their ways of thinking and helping them realize and adopt the benefits of Azure. Function as Technical Delivery Subject Matter Expert that will provide oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements. Partner up with Delivery Management team to ensure project milestones are aligned to a project plan that is inclusive of capturing key client decisions. Act as a Trusted Resource in Azure Infrastructure : Guide business and technical decision makers on creating business value leveraging the Azure platform. Synthesize business and technical architecture requirements. Serve as the as the go-to technical trusted resource in Azure Infrastructure space with a specific focus on Azure Landing Zones, Datacenter Migration, Modern Management, Infrastructure as Code, and Security, Governance and Compliance. Help the delivery team reach billable targets by assisting with breaking through project blockers. Help facilitate change orders and project extensions when in-flight projects call for it. Required Experience: Proven experience of delivering design thinking, 'ideation' or similar context analysis/problem framing Technical expertise: A strong expertise in all key azure infrastructure areas allowing you to design a customers azure environment- from architecture to management and governance. 4 years of experience as an Azure Infrastructure Architect with a specialty in cloud operations, systems management, migration strategies, governance, etc. Demonstrated experience migrating on premises workloads into Azure Deep technical knowledge across Azure technologies inclusive of: Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Networking (App Gateways, Front Door, Firewall, VWAN), Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), Azure Sentinel, App Services, Containers (AKS), Managed Instances, Azure SQL, Azure DNS, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure DevOps, PaaS, etc. Systems engineering across networking platforms, Azure IaaS and PaaS, Windows & Linux Servers, hypervisors, storage, and SaaS solutions - demonstrating a high technical aptitude. Ability to integrate DevOps principles and practices using automation platforms, scripts, and IaC to increase efficiencies - including bicep and terraform. Understanding of security, privacy, governance and compliance requirements for migrating to the cloud as well as maintaining hybrid solutions.
