Overview: This position contributes to Starbucks success by working with Corporate Technology teams across Supply Chain Operations and Retail Systems to deliver complex business systems initiatives. The successful candidate must be a well-rounded leader who can drive and sustain collaboration with SBUX stakeholders across both Technology and Business, especially within challenging and/or ambiguous areas. The selected candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end successful management of strategic initiatives that spans supply chain, retail, finance, and operations. The candidate must be an experienced, self-starter project manager, who works independently but under the oversight of the program manager, is comfortable coming into role with an existing cross functional team, possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills and provides team members with clear direction at all times. To ensure successful delivery from analysis and design, development and test through deployment and closure, proactive identification and detailed management of issues, risks and change control/ decisions processes are key. The senior technology project manager must be seasoned in all forms of oral and written communications including delivery among individual contributors, team members and executive stakeholders. Required Skills : 10 years in successful technology project delivery in large complex organizations Previous experience with SDLC, software engineering, and knowledge of Oracle (EBS) including master data management and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Experience with retail systems and operations environment is strongly preferred Expert Knowledge and experience in all project delivery methodologies e.g. Agile/SCRUM, , SAFE 4, Hybrid, Predictive (waterfall) Manage assigned projects against cross-program portfolio dependencies Works independently, with limited day-to-day guidance from senior program management leadership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent oral and written communications to deliver crisp, concise presentations and status reports Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management preferred. PMP, PgMP, and/or Scrum Master Certifications are a plus Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Visio with expert skills in MS Project and Excel required Experience with Microsoft TEAMs, Confluence, SmartSheets, and JIRA a plus Basic Qualification : Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities Leadership and Communication: Leads by example and builds teams with a confident and positive attitude, patience, honesty and integrity, and a strong sense of commitment Has the ability to know what is possible and what is not, and to know how to navigate project engagements efficiently and effectively Ability to engage in difficult conversations that result in positive, actionable outcomes.
