Enterprise Master Data Technology group is at the forefront of building BNYM Strategic Reference Data Platforms. We are looking for a motivated Senior Datawarehouse Developer (Data Engineer). They will be part of the team that builds, maintains, and promotes our Enterprise Master Data platform, enable many teams cross LOBs in BNYM with the Client, Account, Product, Reference data we own. We are looking for a Senior Datawarehouse Developer (Data Engineer) with focus in Relational Database (Oracle/SQL). Candidate is expected to be operating under the guidance of Tech Lead, however, is expected to be self-starter and operate with an ownership mentality and interface with other teams. Candidate must be familiar with Agile Software Delivery Practice. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA and requires working on-site 3 days' week. Skills and Qualifications 8 years of experience in architecture in Data Warehouse/Data Engineer role, along with Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science 7 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Data Warehouse/decision support systems. 5 years of experience using SQL/PL-SQL for Stored procedures and performance tuning. 5 years of experience with Relational Model, Dimensional Data Modeling, Data Warehouse. 7 years of experience working with relational databases, for example Oracle, Vertica, familiar with Database objects like Indexes, Views, Synonyms 5 years hands-on experience in database programming and design using PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views, using Oracle 12c or better 3 years of ETL experience such as Informatica 5 years' experience with Unix/Linux systems and Scripting experience in Bash, Python, etc. Experience using version control and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, etc. Comfortable working with large, complex datasets, performs data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues. Experience in Reference/Master Data is a plus. Knowledge of data security is a plus A logical thinker with demonstrably strong analytical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills, contributes to engineering wiki, and documents work. Establishes good working relationship across peers and teams.
