Hybrid -Durham, NCInterview Type (Phone, Video, Face to Face) Video Anticipated Start (in weeks) 2 3-5 Must Haves top MUST have skills - Looking for a Java backend developer - Java REST API services - person will play a key role in defining and executing on a new service oriented architecture built on REST and leveraging API management. - Spring Boot framework - Backend Oracle Required Skills : 5-8 years of software development experience 5 years total OO development experience 4-6 years of Java EE development experience Experience with API Manager tools Understanding of and experience with Micro-Services Architecture concepts and emerging patterns such as APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON Application development using Java EE, Spring framework Relational databases like DB2 or Oracle as well as no-SQL databases Event driver transaction processing using EAI, ESB and messaging patterns using technologies such as WSO2, ActiveMQ, Tomcat etc. Security integration using oAuth and LDAP CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git/Stash, Jenkins, Nexus, uDeploy, Docker etc. Cloud deployment models A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts. Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment while meeting deliverables. Curiosity to stay abreast with new and emerging technologies and concepts and to find ways to apply those to business problems.
