DBA - RDS

Position Summary The AWS RDS Database Engineer performs independently or as a key multi-functional team member in identifying, planning, developing, and deploying database applications and other technology solutions that can involve multiple physical locations and business units. Acts as the single point of contact for AWS database administration and escalations for the Banking Industry project. Summary Of Essential Job Functions 10-12 years of experience in managing Postgres databases. 5 years of experience should be on the cloud version preferably AWS experience in managing databases as RDS services in AWS, security policy, user authentication, IAM, and database administration in AWS. • Experience in Postgres SQL performance improvement , indexing/other approaches. Working Knowledge of EDB • Advanced understanding of Linux OS, use SSH to connect to remote systems with password & public/private keys • Hands-on Experience in Jira, GitHub, Ansible & Terraform.
