Come join our growing team over 125 IT professionals as we support a large 5-year IT government contract for the Naval Air Systems Command Position Type: Full-Time Work Site: Patuxent River, MD Work Location: Remote (see COVID-19 procedures below) COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. Essential Functions: Work on an Agile team to modernize a complex large-scale web application and its related Oracle database objects utilizing C# and .NET Core framework, containerization, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Reverse engineer Oracle database procedures and triggers Convert requirements into epics, user stories, or features Analyze and implement user needs and software requirements Provide maintenance support and troubleshooting to the legacy application. Other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications and Experience: Required: BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience. Web-based, full stack software development experience, specifically with C#/.NET framework required. Demonstrated Oracle and/or SQL Server database experience/knowledge required. Desired: Experience with transactional application development highly desired. Experience with nHibernate and/or MVC highly desired. Experience with Agile methodologies preferred. Experience with jQuery and/or Telerik preferred. Experience with Git a plus. Experience modernizing large scale applications a plus. DOD/DON applications development experience a huge plus. Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret clearance.
