Summary: The Pega LSA (MTS1, Software Engineer) primary focus is to ensure the technical integrity of the fraud platform and to formulate the technical direction for Client's on-going strategic cloud investments. The MTS1 Software Engineer at Client contributes to the estimation, analysis, design, implementation, and operations of our fraud rules and case management engine owned by the team and works closely with the senior tech and business leadership driving the vision, and technical strategic objectives throughout the SDLC. The Sr. Software Engineer remains current in all eCommerce related technologies in support of enterprise applications and infrastructure. Roles & Responsibilities: Analyze, design and implement technical solutions fulfilling business requirements on our core on-premise services and new AWS ones using Pega PRPC 8.x. Keeping in mind solution scalability, availability, security, quality, and maintainability characteristics Actively participate in proof-of-concept implementation of new applications and services Build and maintain case management system. Occasionally, assist in production escalations, systems operations, and problem resolutions Assist team members in adopting new cloud service technologies, and mentor the team to remain current with latest tech trends in the global marketplace Assist management in the prioritization of development decisions Minimum Qualifications: B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related technical area Minimum of 12 years of IT experience and at least 10 years in Pega and 3 years in Java is a must Pega LSA or CLSA1 certification Proven hands-on design and development experience with Pega PRPC 8.x and Java eco system Hands-on experience designing and building high traffic services serving 1k transactions per second or similar high transaction volume distributed systems with high-availability and fault-tolerance. Working knowledge with AWS platform. AWS certification (AWS Developer Associate/AWS Architect Associate) is a big plus. Experience with SQL, Oracle, Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora. Experience in developing event-driven and microservice architecture services utilizing Kafka or Kinesis Extensive experience implementing system integrations utilizing synchronous and asynchronous options Working knowledge with source control systems like Git and other dev tools like Jira, Confluence, GO CI/CD. Great team player utilizing agile delivery (ex. Scrum) Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and process facilitation skills Experience in e-commerce and/or payment, fraud, chargeback and financial domains is a plus Experience in pega customer decision hub and RPA would be added advantage.
