Time Type: Full time Department: CC017130 Information Technology Summary: Hybrid (80% remote - 20% on-site) Responsible for designing, implementing, administering, configuring and maintaining assigned systems to ensure high levels of availability, performance and security. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues providing a positive end user experience. Additional Information: Skills needed: Advanced Linux administration, including automation techniques utilizing Ansible, Terraform, etc. High Performance Computing (HPC) system administration Windows systems administration, familiarity with virtualization platforms and technology (VMware and/or Nutanix), and identity management solutions. Position is hybrid requiring at least one (1) day a week on premises One (1) week per quarter on call. On-premises presence is required during the on-call week. Required Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience Recommended Education: Master's Degree Required Work Experience: Related Field - 5 years of experience Recommended Work Experience: Required Certifications: May require Microsoft Certifications, VCP, EPIC certifications or other role specific certifications - Recommended Certifications: Description Administers, installs and configures system for optimal performance. Schedules, installs and tests system upgrades and patches. Monitors system performance and security. Collaborates with internal and external customers to elicit requirements and design, build, test and deploys changes. Maintains documentation on change management, work flows, environmental diagrams, configuration, release notes, etc. Ensures system maintenance tasks such as backup/recovery, file maintenance, etc. is completed daily. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues. May act as a project lead on system deployments and changes, new functionality, work flows, processes, reporting and other project specific tasks. Trains and supports users, as needed. Works with other IS team members on backup/recovery, security, storage allocations, infrastructure, etc. May require troubleshooting and support of cloud applications. Performs other duties as assigned.
