Job title: Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid) Duration: 10 months Hybrid role requiring 3 days / onsite, 2 days remote (no exceptions) Short Description: Management and optimization of release processes within the Salesforce ecosystem. Expertise in Copado and Salesforce DevOps tools will drive efficient deployments. Job Description: Must have Excellent Communication and Problem Solving Skills. As a Senior Release DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our CI/CD pipelines, beginning with manual coordination of GitHub code releases across Salesforce teams and transitioning to Copado for automated releases. Your skills in Copado, AWS DevOps, and relevant tools will streamline our release processes and strengthen deployment strategies. You willcollaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure a reliable, scalable, and secure cloud environment with a focus on automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: ManageGitHub-based releasesacross Salesforce teams, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely deployment of code changes. Handle all release coordination manually during the initial phase of the project. Lead the transition from manual GitHub-based releases toautomated Copadodriven release management. Oversee the implementation ofCopadofor streamlined release processes, ensuring the migration is efficient and effective. Design, implement, and maintainCI/CD pipelines using Copadoto support efficient and automated software releases within the Salesforce environment. Ensure thatCopadois fully integrated into the release cycle, automating version control and deployment processes. Develop and implement version control strategies using Git and Copado to manage deployment phases and maintain consistency across all releases. Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the Copado CI/CD pipeline, ensuring high code quality and reliable deployments. Monitor system performance using Salesforce-specific tools, proactively identifying, and resolving issues to maintain opertional stability. Maintain documentation for release processes, CI/CD pipelines, and configurations to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. Stay updated on industry trends and DevOps best practices to continuously enhance team capabilities and improve release efficiency. Required Skills: Experience developing and managing Salesforce CI/CD pipelines Version Control (Git) Scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) Performance Optimization Security Best Practices Problem-Solving Communication and Collaboration with Teams with Teams Required 7 Years CI/CD Pipeline Management: Copado AWS DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Management (AWS) Monitoring tools CI/CD Pipeline Management: Jenkins Automation Tools (Ansible, Terraform) AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field Preferred Skills: Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Terraform Proficiency in AWS DevOps tools and infrastructure management.
