Job Description Conduct risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain security controls throughout the organization. Engage with business stakeholders to understand their security needs and guide security-related decisions. Participate in the evaluation and selection of security technologies and solutions to address organizational requirements. Oversee remediation activities, monitor security metrics, and stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory changes relevant to the financial services sector. The Successful Applicant Proven experience as a business information security officer or similar role in the financial services industry, with a deep understanding of relevant regulations such as SEC and FINRA. Strong analytical skills to assess complex security risks, translate technical details into business impact, and develop effective mitigation plans. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, effectively engaging and influencing senior business and technology leaders. Experience leading security initiatives and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve secure outcomes, along with familiarity with key security technologies and controls. Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM) and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, demonstrating a commitment to ethical standards and secure innovation.
