Wireless Network Tester

Perform wireless network testing to ensure reliability, security, and compliance with industry standards. • Test and validate wireless access points (APs) and router configurations. • Evaluate wireless security protocols, including encryption and authentication methods such as WPA, WPA2, WPA3, and protocols such as WPA-PSK, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST, PEAP/MS-CHAPv2. • Troubleshoot wireless network issues and propose solutions to improve system performance. • Work with network hardware and software to configure and optimize wireless routers and access points. • Implement and test network encryption techniques to ensure data confidentiality and integrity. • Collaborate with network architects and engineers to validate system functionality, performance, and security. • Perform tests on network security, ensuring wireless systems adhere to the highest security standards. • Conduct performance analysis on wireless networks and provide recommendations for improvements. • Stay up to date with emerging wireless technologies, standards, and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in wireless network testing and familiar with wireless standards (IEEE 802.11 family). • In-depth knowledge of network security protocols such as WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, EAP-TLS, EAP-FAST, PEAP/MS-CHAPv2. • Familiarity with wireless encryption and authentication modes. • Strong understanding of network configurations for access points and wireless routers. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues. • Experience with network testing tools and frameworks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification in wireless networking (e.g., CWNA, CWSP, CCNA Wireless). • Hands-on experience with enterprise-level wireless network deployments. • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
