Monitor security alerts from various sources, including SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems. Analyze and prioritize security incidents based on potential impact and severity. Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner. Maintain and optimize security monitoring tools and technologies. Document security incidents, findings, and actions in detailed reports. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ArcSight, QRadar). Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and firewalls. Familiarity with intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection solutions. 1-3 years of experience in a SOC environment or related cybersecurity role. What's in it for me?
