Retail POS Tech Support Analyst

Job Description In this position you will support new and existing retail venues and events. Periodically travel is required to various venues and events across the US and Canada to setup/tear down the Fanatics' point of sale (POS) system. You will also assist our stores with any issues or question they have related to the POS system. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Travel is required usually a few days a month, but some events may be longer. Some travel may be over the weekend. After hours / weekend support by phone is required. Some experience using, installing and supporting EPOS solutions - ideally in Retail and Event environments. Experience with Android and other operating systems Good planning/project management skills Good communications skill Good problem-solving skills Self-motivated without the need for direct supervision Passionate, positive, and hard-working. Must have experience of equipment installation. PC or POS, including peripherals - Printers, Scanners, Till Drawers, Payment Devices Have at least a basic understanding of WAN's, LAN's and WIFI's, equipment used, switches, patch panels etc. Should have knowledge of EPOS systems or similar where support on use of the systems has been provided to the end users Should have experience of first line support in a similar role - resolving technical issues and providing system guidance.
