Solution Architect Urbana, MD onsite Contract Role name: Role Description: Qualification:• TOGAF or similar certification is desirable• Related degree is desirable or demonstrable equivalent experience• ITIL certification would be an advantageRequired Skills :Required demonstrable knowledge of:• Design and architectural patterns.• IT industry standards• IT governance• SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, API, open data, micro services, event driven ITKnowledge of at least one of the following:• Finance System • Actuarial Systems• Pensions industry Competencies: Experience (Years): 8-10 Essential Skills: Mandatory Experience:• Leading solution architecture across mid to large projects.• Cloud deployed solutions (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).• Working closely with development teams to realise the solution.• Working closely with infrastructure teams to realise solution.• Experience of waterfall and agile delivery paradigms.• Ability to develop and project a positive image of the IT function and company through interpersonal, written and verbal communications to a wide range of audiences.• Proven ability to build successful working relationships and networks.• Broad technology experience in finance sector .• Strong experience in at least 3 disciplines - business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multi-tier environment• Thought leader on Solution Architecture, able to paint a compelling image of the future IT capability and its desirability.
