OIS provides the technology systems and services that support more than 18,000 OHA and ODHS agency staff at local offices and facilities around the state. These systems and services help the two agencies determine client service program eligibility; provide medical, housing, food, and job assistance; provide addiction, mental health, vocational, and rehabilitative services; protect children, seniors, and people with physical and/or developmental disabilities; process claims and benefits; manage provider licensing and state hospital facilities; and promote and protect the state public health. The Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) is a program of the Client in coordination with the Oregon Health Authority. ODDS is refining Oregon's developmental disabilities system to be more person-centered through the Compass eXPRS Project. eXPRS is a web-based system developed to manage long term care Medicaid services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The project has already improved some aspects of the system such as the Oregon Needs Assessment flexible and universal tool to collect information about what each individual needs. OIS seeks an experienced Software Engineer 4 to support further development, enhancement, and improvement to the eXPRS application. gency is contracting with Contractor for ITPS, with deliverables to be completed by Contractor under this WOC, in support of the Operations and Maintenance of the ODHS/ODDS eXPRS application. Please note: Contract dates will reflect 8 months, but be limited to 1040 hours, whichever comes first. Scope: Contractor's Key Person under this WOC will support the following needs of the Operations and Maintenance of the ODHS/ODDS eXPRS application: . ssist with identification and remediation of application bugs b. ssist with the completion of operational requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog c. ssist with the completion of the application enhancement request in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog d. ssist with completion of the performance and maintenance requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog e. ssist with the completion of the application refactoring requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog f. ssist with the completion of the User Interface improvement requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog g. ssist with the completion of the data and reporting requests in the eXPRS ADOS Backlog h. Transition of the concepts and enhancements to existing team members to enable them to provide ongoing support Tasks: Documenting completed enhancements to ensure complete system documentation for the eXPRS application. Completing defect and change requests for code modifications associated with the Services that impact the eXPRS application. Engaging in multiple discussions with system and business experts as well as attending daily Scrum meetings. Engaging with the ODHS business product owner to understand mandatory functional business requirements and timelines. Documenting solution options, impacted system areas, system dependencies, and gaps in system capabilities needed to fulfill requirements. Engaging with the ODHS project technical architect to understand technical standards, and documenting technical design. Engaging with the OIS technical manager and technical lead to review level of effort and timelines. Provide full transparency into the work performed by Contractor, and the Deliverables required to meet the objectives of this WOC. Sprint reports must document Contractor is successfully completing agreed-upon Services. Following Authorized Purchaser's existing requirements management, design, development and issue tracking processes and development standards (including naming conventions) during the course of performance. Authorized Purchaser's existing processes use Azure DevOps (ADOS) and similar tools for tracking issues and an Agile Scrum approach is followed for development work. Supports and installs applications and operating system. Assists in the testing process by conducting reviews and analyses, witnessing tests and participating in software certification. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we anticipate two weeks or more for the background check completion for the selected candidate. This position is approved for remote work. ny decision to allow telecommuting is made with the understanding that the decision will be re-evaluated by the Agency Authorized Representative on a regular basis. The key person should be available to work onsite within a reasonable timeframe, if deemed necessary by the Agency Authorizing Representative. Telecommuting will be contingent upon the key person providing his/her own adequate computer, monitor(s), Internet connection, and telephone, and be readily available during normal working hours via phone, email or MS Teams chat. Access to Agency systems will be provided via VPN or similar software. No hardware or additional software will be provided at the key person's home site or his/her PC, unless a specific device is required to perform assigned duties (such as Multi-Factor Authentication devices). Work schedule is typically Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM Pacific Standard Time.
