Kforce has a client that is seeking an Android Developer in Pleasanton, CA or Dallas, TX. Remote to start for 6-12 month long term contract with high possibility of conversion FTE down the line. Summary: To be successful in this position, the Android Developer will be proficient with Android, Java, Kotlin, Android Studio and must be very hands on with Android development Must-haves: 5 years Android Development. Kotlin, Coroutines MVVM design architecture pattern. Work independently Good communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Drive innovation and design solutions for consumer facing Android mobile applications Provide technical leadership in end-to-end design, development, and testing of solutions Work with technical leads, managers and Product stakeholders to define and manage the technical roadmap Prepare and present potential technical solutions and advise the business on approach and tradeoffs Work with developers, business analysts and subject matter experts to understand the complex technological system in order to produce integrated end-to-end solution options Provide high level effort estimates in the absence of detailed requirements Participate in the definition and implementation standards for mobile development. Facilitate the implementation and adoption of new mobile tools and technologies. Experience with HTML5 and CSS3 Experience with mobile JavaScript frameworks like jQuery mobile Excellent understanding of usability aspects of mobile applications Strong hands-on experience building consumer facing mobile solutions for Android Sound understanding of architectural pattern like MVVM and MVC Hands on experience with REST API services Strong hands-on experience building consumer facing mobile solutions for Android Hands on experience with Kotlin and Java.
