Senior Security Architect: Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning, implementing, and testing security systems; preparing security standards, policies, and procedures. Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards on-prem, remote (DR), and cloud environments. Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members. Required Skills 1. Security Architecture Expertise: Strong experience designing and implementing security solutions, including LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, and PKIs. 2. Zero Trust Architecture: Proven ability to develop, standardize, and document zero trust reference architectures. 3. Cloud Security: Experience with security in cloud, on-premises, and disaster recovery (DR) environments. 4. Mentorship: Skilled in mentoring teams, knowledge transfer, and enhancing team capabilities. 5. Industry Standards: Deep understanding of compliance frameworks and security best practices. 6. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in network protocols, security technologies, and tools. 1. Documentation: Ability to define, operationalize, and document security processes and architectures. 2. Security Assessments: Experience conducting security architecture reviews and applying appropriate controls. 3. Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or other relevant security certifications. 4. Collaboration: Strong cross-functional communication and leadership skills.
