You'll work with a group of friendly staff in a comfortable office full of sunshine. Responsibilities Assist clients with tax-related issues including research, transactions and tax audits. Conduct research according to applicable tax laws and regulations Communicate directly with existing clients, colleagues and supervisors regarding various tax matters. Prepare and review corporate income tax returns for various entities and individual tax returns. Prepare complex tax returns such as multi-state, gift tax, trusts, 1031 exchanges, Form 1120-F, Form 5471, Form 114, and Form 8938 for US and foreign clients. Prepare and review financial statements and financial records for errors in accordance with GAAP. Provide proper supervision for staff to ensure accurate and timely completion of work. Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality. Qualifications Bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns in CPA firm. Experienced with bookkeeping, payroll, and Form 1099. Highly organized with attention to detail. Proficient in accounting and tax software QuickBooks and ProConnect.
