Responsibilities This job will be part of the Communications Solutions Group, which is responsible for Keysight's portfolio in the Wireless Data Ecosystem, including wireless devices, operators, internet infrastructure, and Aerospace & Defense. Our software-centric solutions accelerate our customers' time to market and reduce their costs - giving them a competitive advantage in today's and tomorrow's technology waves. This position is for a full-time Software Engineer to join Keysight's Quantum Engineering Solutions (QES) organization, which is responsible for producing world-leading solutions in quantum control system for quantum computing. As a developer, you will be part of an R&D team comprised of quantum physicists, software developers, and RF-uW measurement engineers, working together to develop quantum control software solutions that control instrumentation like AWGs, Digitizers, Network Analyzers to perform quantum measurements. You will work throughout each stage of our product development process and tackle complex technical challenges while in a customer-centric environment. Design, develop, maintain, test, and support a portfolio of software solutions for Quantum Computer Control System customers. Understand customer needs and requirements to define solutions and formulate development plans Work independently as well as in teams to accomplish business objectives Experience working with but not limited to AWG, Digitizer, Downconverter, RF Network Analyzer, Oscilloscope, DC Power Source instruments PXI hardware experience highly desired Writing unit and system level tests to validate designs. Experience writing asynchronous code for deploying solutions in multi-process/multi-threaded application environments. Qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Physics/Electrical Engineering with internship experience in C#/C++/Python programming and debugging. Analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system issues related to hardware and software interaction. Work in a geographically dispersed team environment. High tolerance for requirements ambiguity. Be results-oriented, meeting timelines, handling pressure while working positively in a collaborative manner.
