Tax Preparer

Trillium has an immediate opening for a Tax Preparer with an accounting firm in St. Clairsville, OH This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks a candidate with a background in public accounting and tax preparation. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for: • Preparation of S-Corp, C-Corp, Individual, Partnership, and Trust Tax Returns • Preparation of financial statement compilation engagements • Be responsive to clients’ needs and propose appropriate solutions • Researching accounting and tax topics relating to specific client as needed • Managing multiple projects and meet deadlines Schedule is Monday - Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Competitive salary range starting at $65,000 depending on experience. If interested, please apply today Qualifications: • 2 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation • Experience in compilation, bookkeeping, and tax compliance services is a plus • Proficiency in Thomson Reuters tax/accounting software preferred (such as Ultra Tax, Planner CS, Accounting CS, FileCabinet, and Practice CS) • Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
