Job Title: Tax Accountant Job Description We are hiring a Tax Accountant 1 to work with our Corporate Tax team in our Omaha headquarters. In this role, you will be involved with Canadian income tax filings, audits, research and planning, and transfer pricing documentation. You may also be called upon to assist with U.S. International, Federal, and State tax compliance. If you have income tax experience, are highly motivated, able to build relationships, and seek growth in your career, we want to talk with you Responsibilities Preparation of Canadian Federal and Provincial returns Calculations for quarterly tax provisions and monthly installment payments Assist with income tax audits and field support Preparation of transfer pricing documentation Research and analysis of tax issues Completion of other assigned projects May include preparation of U.S. International, Federal, and State calculations and filings Essential Skills Bachelor's Degree in Accounting 1 year of tax experience Income tax experience (internship or post-college) Proven technical abilities Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Detail-oriented Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, income tax compliance and research software) Ability to meet deadlines Capability to handle multiple tasks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in income tax compliance and research software New graduates with internship experience are welcome Some travel may be required Work Environment You will be working 100% onsite downtown Omaha. The work hours are flexible, with start times between 6:30-8:30 AM and end times between 3:30-5:30 PM, including a 45-minute lunch break. The Canada tax team consists of 4 members, and you may also engage in U.S. tax work later in the year. Free parking is provided. Project-specific training, one-on-one coaching, and various guides and reference materials are available to support your development.
