DevOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) . You will manage and maintain build and deployment processes, supporting seamless, automated application releases. Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. DevOps Engineer job responsibilities include: Configuring, maintaining, and optimizing repositories, build pipelines, and deployment plans for multiple releases. Monitoring and troubleshooting applications, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborating with development and operations teams to design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Developing automation scripts for cloud deployment and infrastructure management. Ensuring code quality through tools like Sonar and Crucible and following Agile development practices. Providing support for production environments, including incident management and root cause analysis. Continuously improving infrastructure, deployment processes, and performance monitoring practices. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3-5 years in a DevOps or related role. Hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Bitbucket, Ansible, and XLR.
